Here’s a nifty little guide to all the articles in the metabolism series!
-Your metabolism doesn’t drop 40% (or any other magical number) after a 12 hour fast
-Eating every 2-3 hours does NOT increase your metabolism over eating 2-3 times a day
-“Starvation Mode” doesn’t really exist
-“Bad” food is a bad idea, and if you’re craving chocolate, you’re low on chocolate
-When you eat below maintenance calories your body gets 85% of energy from fat, NOT muscle
-Eating before a workout depends on the type of workout you’re doing
-Creating an unhealthy view of food leads to unhealthy behavior with food
-Eating healthy is not cheap, nor is it for everyone
-Conclusion/read before you send hate mail because science rocks
